Rave Review: NYC with Beyond Times Square

Leisure travel advisor, Maria Kazanas, recently arranged an unforgettable New York City holiday getaway for some of her clients, Ernie and Gretchen C.  "Everything was great and everything that was planned by you with Beyond Times Square was great and went off without a hitch. Our drivers and guides were friendly, professional, and punctual. Having drivers and guides really made a difference. All our guides were so knowledgeable and not only made sure we saw what we wanted but also hidden gems we never knew. For instance Annie suggested we see the Wall St tree and we are so glad we did. She also showed us Dyker Heights lights. After our tours with Annie we both could tell she was really compassionate about New York and wanted to share that with us. T-Money (Tim) not only showed us around The Statue of Liberty but also gave us theater tickets!”

Dark Sky Week & the Best Places in the World to See the Night Sky

Dark Sky Week is held every year during the week of the new moon in April, and in 2025, it will be held from April 21-28. This week was created to see the true beauty of the night sky by turning off all unnecessary lights worldwide and raising awareness about light pollution. Dark Sky Week was created by highschooler Jennifer Barlow back in 2003, and is recognized by the International Dark-Sky Association, the American Astronomical Society, the Astronomical League, and Sky & Telescope. Barlow wanted to create this week of observance, because she thought it was important to preserve the way that our ancestors saw the night sky and to get rid of any unnecessary lighting that is preventing us from having the same experience.
