BRENTWOOD TRAVEL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note effective April 24, 2018, ALL clients of Brentwood Travel are required to sign and submit the below agreement:
AGENCY –
Brentwood Travel is acting as an agent for its suppliers and is not the direct source or supplier of the travel services requested. By approving the use of these suppliers, the traveler agrees not to hold Brentwood Travel or its Travel Advisors responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission causing injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.
Brentwood Travel is not responsible for, nor can it be held liable for, any injury, damage or loss suffered because of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.
Brentwood Travel strongly recommends all cruise clients arrive in the embarkation city at least one day prior to sailing.
Travel to many parts of the world may involve exposure to a variety of health and/or safety hazards, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism and warfare. Brentwood Travel is not responsible for advising travelers of whether they should travel to any particular place at any particular time. It is the traveler’s responsibility to stay informed by referring to objective third-party sources of travel information, such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov).
PROOF OF IDENTITY –
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires passengers to carry a government issued identification (ID) card in order to board a flight. The name, date of birth and gender that appears on the traveler’s ID card must exactly match the same such information that is listed on the airline ticket and in the booking records.
International travel requires travelers to have a valid US Passport book and may also require one or more Visas, depending upon the traveler’s destination and nationality.
Travelers under the age of 18 not traveling with both parents may need additional special or legal documentation to travel.
It is the traveler’s responsibility to be aware of, obtain, and provide the proper documentation required for their trip. Failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding, undue delays, and/or fees resulting in additional cost to the traveler(s). Brentwood Travel is not responsible for these fees and no refunds will be made.
RATES & INCREASES –
All quoted rates are subject to change without notice until initial deposit or payment has been made. Discounted fares typically involve restrictions and changing any aspects of travel arrangements may result in additional payment due.
Airline tickets, air tours and/or other products may be subject to supplemental price increases after the date of purchase due to additional costs imposed by a supplier or government agency. This may include, but is not limited to, increased fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, fluctuations in foreign exchange markets or any combination thereof.
Brentwood Travel may assess an additional 15% processing fee for changes and/or cancellations.
Brentwood Travel strongly advises travelers to use a credit card in order to better dispute charges should a vendor cease operating. Refunds from a supplier may take 6-8 weeks to process.
TRAVEL INSURANCE –
Brentwood Travel strongly recommends travel insurance be purchased for all travelers at the time of initial deposit to cover risks inherent in travel. Please note that Brentwood Travel Advisors are not insurance experts and cannot guarantee the adequacy or extent of an insurance policy. Travelers are advised to read and become acquainted with policy documents and contact the insurer for clarification or concerns.
