The Resort and Room

The Dreams Dominicus La Romana was a 50-minute drive away from the airport. We reached our destination with private transfers by Amstar. Our 4-hour nonstop flight was with Frontier Airline from St. Louis. Once we got to the resort we checked into our Preferred Club room. The room was large and spacious with comfy pillow-top beds and a lovely balcony! There was a Nespresso machine and a fully stocked mini-bar with beer, juice, and soda. There was no hard liquor available in the room. We had a large bathroom with full toiletries, double sinks, and a separate toilet.

The Beach and Pool

There was a big, beautiful beach with deep, crystal-clear water and no seaweed! It was picture-perfect with the white sand and palm trees swaying in the breeze. The resort had large pools with plenty of seating and activities during the day. There was a swim-up bar as well as activities to entertain kids. There was something for everyone to do!

Dining

The food at the resort was amazing! Every single restaurant we ate at was great. One of our favorite restaurants at the resort was a Pan-Asian cuisine & sushi bar called Himitsu. We had a lot of fun at the teppanyaki table! The experience was very interactive. Our chef even pulled my mom up!

Safety

We were impressed with the security at the resort! In the resort itself as well as the beach, there was security at all times. We felt very safe throughout our entire trip.
