Colleen Hoeflinger received her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from University of Missouri- Columbia and a Masters in Special Education from Webster University. She has worked for the Special School District for 22 years. When she is not teaching, she loves to travel. Her Mom, Mickey Gaona, has been in the travel business for over 30 years. She was able to take many wonderful trips with her Mom and family and decided to pursue a second career in travel. 

 

Colleen loves traveling overseas and she has had the opportunity to visit England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Amsterdam, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and France. She has been on cruises to Nova Scotia, as well as the Caribbean. She loves getting away to all inclusive resorts in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. One of her favorite trips out of the US has to be the Christmas markets in Quebec, Canada. The only word to describe it would be enchanting. 

U.S. travel is always exciting. She loves New York and has been there multiple times for an assorted array of events such as show openings on Broadway and the Downton Abbey exhibit. Asheville, South Carolina is also a must see especially in the Fall for the wonderful foliage. Staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn was a wonderful experience.

She would love to do a land and cruise tour of Alaska and ride the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada in the future.
